Biblical-Clarity Magazine was created with the goal of helping to provide Biblical Clarity. We hope to do this by creating, developing, and distributing resources to motivate, inspire, and help those who wish to perform a serious study of the Bible. We believe the Bible is the Word of God. In its original form, it is inerrant and dependable as the principal guide to a successful life. The Bible is the most powerful book in the world and it has the power to change your life. Prayerfully reading this book will do more for you than any other earthly pursuit. However, we recognize this can be a challenging book to read. Many people start in Genesis. Genesis is a good place to start, but it gets difficult rather quickly. Others start with the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books of the New Testament. The problem in starting with the Gospels is they have many Old Testament references. Frequently, those without a background in the Old Testament also find themselves facing difficulties. With all these difficulties, how can one start? Fortunately, The Author of the book is present when you read it. If that sounds peculiar, let's look at Who we're referring to. God. God, with an uppercase "G", is frequently described as omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. Omnipotent means all-powerful, omniscient is all-knowing, and omnipresent is present everywhere at once. If He is omnipresent, and He is, then He is present with the reader. Since He is present, and He can grant you wisdom, it makes complete sense to ask for understanding of what is being read. God grants understanding to some, and it may not involve a parting of the clouds and a very clear audible voice. It may, but it may also be a moment of Biblical Clarity from some other means. This may sound peculiar to those who don't believe in God, but we're serious. If you ask God to give you Biblical Clarity, He may give it to you. How do we know? Romans 10:5-15 reads as follows. For Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. But the righteousness based on faith says, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) "or 'Who will descend into the abyss?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on Him. For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!" It takes a degree of Biblical Clarity to understand that. Those who can see what it says, may have a hard time understanding how anyone can miss it. Those who don't understand what it says, try as they may, they simply cannot see it.
